Jason Ardiles, otherwise known as Jason A, is a multifaceted musician, producer, and singer-songwriter based in Boise, ID. 
Growing up in Northern California, Jason became obsessed with the guitar as a kid, devoting as many hours as possible to learning everything from 90s Alternative music to classical guitar and flamenco. Becoming a prolific songwriter, he released three albums with his band, The Stages of Sleep, a Bay Area favorite for their dynamic live performances and unique Indie Gypsy Rock sound. 

His artistic evolution led him to embark on a solo venture, fusing classical guitar fingerpicking, raw and processed vocals, and original compositions seamlessly weaving together electronic and organic sound elements.
As the creative force behind Street Rabbit, Jason continued his sonic exploration, blending Folk, World Music, and Electronic influences with Bizarre Pop undertones. The genesis of Street Rabbit saw Jason  experimenting with looping, drum machines, and diverse textures, breaking away from traditional instrumentation to create a sound that is simultaneously melancholic and powerful. 

For a time, Jason took a break from being the man behind the mic, and focused on consulting, collaborating, and producing. Most recently, he has served as producer and session musician for folk virtuoso Dustin Silva, including for his latest single, Past Warning. Jason has continued to devote many hours to honing his guitar and vocal skills, as well as experimenting in other artistic media.
Presently, Jason is coming out of his early retirement, hitting the live music scene once again and venturing into the digital musical landscape under his solo moniker, Jason A. Armed with a compelling solo repertoire that showcases his classical guitar prowess, emotive vocals, and diverse musical influences, he brings a sound unlike anything most have heard before. With his Chilean background, Jason A is known to bring the duende when he performs - the Boise music scene is about to be taken by storm.
